Ryan has recently restricted me to 10 kisses a day. This is only until the baby comes then I get zero! He left with Tom after church to take Natalie and Andrea to the airport so I didn't use my quota. Apparently I can't redeem them all at one time ie, bedtime, and unused kisses don't carry over to the next day. We might have to rework this plan.
Whit went through a similar stage when she was about 4 and would hide under her covers so I couldn't kiss her good night. I had to sneak in her bedroom after she went to sleep to kiss her or attack her unexpectedly( which happened often). About 6 months ago she wanted me to do something with her and I asked what's in it for me. She said I could kiss her goodnight again! Best deal I ever made!

Natalie and Andrea came to visit us this last week. We were lucky to get a suitcase filled with chocolate! Norway has the most amazing chocolate Easter eggs ever. A nice creamy milk chocolate filled with a cream that defies description it is so good. Whenever I tell someone about them the response I typically get is, "Oh, like a cadberry egg." NO!!! Don't insult the Paske egg like that! To start with it has superior chocolate and the cream filling is 100 times better. It even comes with a little spoon so you can bite off the top of the egg and eat the cream inside first. My problem is I am running out of them too quickly. I might have to stop sharing them.
When the girls decided to come visit we asked them what they wanted to do or see while they were here. The list included shopping, places to eat, shopping in the middle of the night (not an option in Norway), visiting with friends, and more shopping. One of their family traditions is to go hiking on the Saturday before Easter. I suggested doing that here and was told that the only hiking they would be doing was around the mall!! The inside of stores was pretty much all the site seeing they got, but for teenage girls it was a dream vacation. Thank goodness they were leaving all that chocolate, they needed the room for all of their stuff!!!
It was so fun to see them again. We are all sad that they had to leave today, especially Whit and Ryan. They like having someone else that has electronics to play on and someone that will take the brunt of Tom's teasing!
Natalie, you better remember your key next time you come you don't have any excuses for another one!!!!
