T-Ball
Whitney started T-ball this week. She had two games. They were very entertaining. One kid took a nap in outfield, many kids ran the wrong direction, and my personal favorite the dog pile for the ball. If they took score Whit's team would be doing great because they actually have one kid that can throw the ball where he actually wants it to go. He can throw from home base to first and can even catch. The rest of the team needs more practice. This could be the reason that Tom took Whitney to the store to buy a T-ball stand and a bunch of baseballs the day after her first practice. She has practiced more at home and is starting to get the hang of it.
That doesn't stop her from doing cheers in right field but at
least she was watching her own game not the one next to her.
I tired to get her to wear other shorts, but she wouldn't have it. They matched her hat! Silly me, what was I thinking?

Silly Jess. There you go thinking again... Just remember to look not think. Looks over logic is your rule.
Way to go Whitney!!! You look so cute out there in the field. You look like you are attentive and knows the right positions. And it looks like you may have hit the ball and got on first base...cool! Maybe I will get to watch a game?
Parent Rule 1: Relax Dad and enjoy how fun it is to watch 5 year olds play sports!
Parent rule 2: Don't worry...Be Happy...She knows how to be a CHEERLEADER!
Love, Lewis Grandma
she matched that's all i am gonna say :)
I can't wait to sign Evie up for soccer and watch her run around with the other little ones.
Whitney does look good in her hat though.
