Youth Jam

Saturday we went to the river for the annual youth jam. They had a car show, the military set up, and a lot of crafts for the kids. Ryan's favorite things were the noise makers: the junk jam and the super xylophone. Whitney's favorite thing was getting her face painted. My favorite was that everything was free!!!

Here is Ryan reaching up to pull the horn.

This is Ryan after pulling the horn. The funniest part was the kids that got on afterward kept pulling the horn and poor Ryan was startled each time.

This totally takes banging pots and pans to a new level!!

I asked Whitney if she thought she could drive this car because it was her size. Apparently she is not confident in her driving abilities! This is Whitney's friend Mikenzee. They love to play with each other. Kenzee's grandma lives around the corner and she spends a lot of time with her grandma so when she is over they play. This was the end of a two day playing extraviganza. Whit had spent the night at Kenzee's grandma's and then Kenzee came with us to the youth jam.

(Why are these kids in jackets in the middle of the summer? This is Idaho and it happened to be only 65 degrees!)
